Acceptable Use Policy
This policy applies to all users of services provided by Servlet Internet Services Company and all of its subsidiaries, including, but not limited to: Innovio Office, pex.net, FrontEndFilters, Outback Networks, HIPAA Compliance Federation, Postino, WebFrame.com
The provisions of this Policy are intended as guidelines and are not meant to be exhaustive.
Servlet's mission is to provide small to mid-sized business networks with secure and reliable access to the Internet, preserve the privacy and security of Servlet and our customers' networks.
Servlet's Dial-up Service is intended for use during normal business hours, active use of e-mail, file transfers via FTP, and browsing of the World Wide Web.
Exceeding contract limits on disk space or traffic for Web sites is prohibited. Additional megabytes of disk space and traffic may be purchased. Please see Servlet's rate chart. These prices may also be obtained by calling 937-767-5000.
The e-mail addresses of Servlet subscribers are not for sale or commercial distribution to third parties.
Any activity that violates law, regulation, or the accepted norms of the Internet community is prohibited. Further Servlet reserves the right to prohibit activities that may damage its commercial reputation and goodwill. Servlet reserves the rights to remove any materials that, in Servlet's sole discretion, are potentially illegal, may subject Servlet to liability, or violate this Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy"). Your violating this Policy may result in the suspension or cancellation of your Servlet services. Servlet will cooperate with all law enforcement agencies investigating criminal activities.
Any attempt to access the accounts of others, or breach authentication or security measures of Servlet's or other systems ("hacking") is prohibited.
Forging electronic mail or otherwise misrepresenting yourself in electronic mail is prohibited. Sending unsolicited advertising or mass mailings to users who have not specifically requested the information is prohibited.
Using an Servlet connection to violate any copyright or intellectual property law is prohibited.
Servlet has no practical ability to restrict all activities that may violate this Policy. Accordingly, Servlet and Servlet Internet Services Company do not assume liability to subscribers or others for any failure to enforce the terms of this Policy.
Servlet will make access available to you on a best effort basis. Service outages can occur over which we have no control. In the event an outage lasts more than 24 hours, we will at your request prorate the applicable portion of your monthly service charge.
Internet access accounts are "unlimited" meaning there is no arbitrary metered use. However, these accounts are not dedicated and are not intended for full-time connection 24x7.
Telecommunications costs are the sole responsibility of the subscriber. Verify with your local telephone service provider that the access number is a local, toll-free call from your location.
Servlet reserves the right to add, delete, or modify any provision of this Policy at any time without notice.
